Sold Knives
|
| I've promised to post pics of some of the hawks I make, and I just cant
get one on here. So I am posting a picture of one of my great, great, great, great Granddads'. He fought in many battles and used it to wreak havoc. He had 4 horses and 2 Red Cross nurses shot out from under him during his military career .
He was given it by Ethan Allen, and was rumored he got it from an Indian brave whose great, great, great, great, great, great, etc. grandfather liberated it from raiding Viking hoards. It was carried by him in the French and Indian War, the American Revolution, and the 2nd World War. Its had 5 new heads and 12 new handles.
The handle is a splinter off the hoe that he was using one day while
hoeing the corn. He came up on the most deadly snake in the world!!
The deadly Broadviperlancetcottonmouthrattlemoccasin.
The snake struck at him and hit the hoe handle. It started swelling up
instantly so he ran and got a saw, but soon gave up on hand sawing and
brought in a portable saw mill. He retired and his sons still run the mill
